Fitness hotel in a relaxing area right by the beach and the ocean and stores, bars, and restaurants. Stunning and enjoyable location, a short walk to everywhere. Nearby Philly's Finest - great place to chill out. Superfriendly staff on arriving receptionist.

The Hotel is kind of old. Not a lot of water pressure.

The kids particularly enjoyed the pool and the chair service right on the sand. The location is perfect for local shopping and dining.

In my wife's opinion, the breakfast options could be expanded to better accommodate families.

So glad we choose it, its nice base for staying in Jacksonville Beach.

Not much in the immediate area

The staff was polite, friendly and helpful. They welcomed us warmly, made us feel special, and gave us directions and suggestions when we needed them. The location of the hotel is also a plus, and the view from the room was truly astounding. The time here was pleasant, relaxing.

Some of the other guests were a bit noisy at a late, late hour.

I love the very friendly staff from the front desk to the housekeeping to maintenance to the kitchen, everyone greeted you when they seen you!! Rooms where great!! Love the easy beach access, the pool big enough so it was not overcrowded!! Beds were great!! Free parking a very good plus!! Was there from May 27th to June 1st, very busy I know the staff had to be overwhelmed, but not once were they short or rude with anyone that I noticed!! Mr Luck checked me in and he was so polite and friendly every time I seen him!! Can't say enough about this hotel, I have a granddaughter who lives in Jacksonville will more than likely be back!! I highly recommended this hotel for a great stay!!

Love everything about this hotel! Walk right out on beach!!! Pool was great!!

We had a faucet in shower very hard to shut so would not drip, probably needed a washer!! That was our fault for not asking for maintenance!! Elevator 3 was not working good last couple of days of our stay!!! Still recommend for a great stay!!

We stayed on the beach/oceanside of the hotel. Beautiful view of the ocean/surf from the balcony. Clean spacious rooms. Hotal staff extremely friendly. We have stayed here several times and they remembered us from before.

We loved this trip. Hampton Inn at Jacksonville Beach was perfect! The rooms were modern and exceptionally clean. The complimentary breakfast was good. The pool was fantastic and the beach was easy to access. We plan to stat here again!

Love the location and convenience to ocean. The pool is beautiful & keeps children busy. The rooms are very clean and I like the fact that linens are cleaned daily.

I liked everything.

The access to the beach was fantastic, and the pool area with tropical trees created a relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast options were well-maintained, with staff ensuring food was fresh even late. Housekeeping was inconsistent. Trash was left outside the can, and the tub needed a request to be cleaned properly.

location of hotel a bit of a distance from the nicer restaurants if you are witout a car but there is a street trolly that runs past the hotel.room rate was a bit high but none the less,we were very haapy with our stay...very good choice hotel and would definitely return.

The location

My family and I were planning Thanksgiving with family in the Jacksonville area. We decided to spend 3 days at the Hampton Oceanfront Jacksonville Beach before joining our family for the rest of the week. I was planning to read and relax .The person who cleaned our room "broke- literally destroyed" my glasses." The good news is, I had my prescription sun glasses with me. The bad news is; most of our time there the weather was bad (overcast and gloomy.) In spite of the fact I was terribly inconvenience the hotel did "not" comp my stay. They did take my glasses to see if they could be fixed, and when they learned it was not possible, referred me to their insurance company for replacement. 1) this mishap ruined our stay at the hotel.... And with our family over Thanksgiving. 2) We were forced to return home early in the morning because I was unable to drive at night using my prescription sunglasses. Taking precious time away from us with our family. 3) I am left with the inconvenience of finding another pair of glasses, " paying" for them, waiting 2 weeks for the new glasses- tri focals - to arrive. Only then will I be reimbursed for my out of pocket expense for the new glasses. 4) I depend on my glasses for everything. I can do virtually nothing without them. Talk about being inconvenienced? Try wearing sunglasses day and night??? 5) I will be forced to wear sunglasses work.... Not acceptable, but I cannot see to work without them.

This place was just an optimal selection for a brief pit stop in Jacksonville Beach with definitely value for money. The tiki bar outside on the beach was amazing, especially with live music during the day. Check out the pool area for a nice relaxation spot.
